Subject: Wife
Location(s): Baltimore, Maryland | Glen Burnie, Maryland | Timonium, Maryland | Catonsville, Maryland
Related Case Information:  Husband has seen several email and covert Facebook messages between his wife and
another man.  According to Facebook the man lives in New Jersey about three hours away from his wife.  Husband and
wife are still living together and have one school age child.  Husband has to leave Saturday and will be gone all
weekend for business.  Wife is able to have family members watch child if she wants to spend the night out.  Fackbook
entries show two locations in Delaware where wife and boyfriend are supposed to meet Saturday.

Investigators are instructed to setup surveillance at the wife's residence 8:00am Saturday morning.  Upon arrival her car
is present along with the husband's vehicle.  The husband leaves for his trip at 8:15am.  The wife is followed around
running various errands throughout the day but does not meet the other man.  Surveillance is discontinued at 5:00pm.

Wife has plans with family members Sunday so surveillance is not scheduled.

Investigators continue surveillance Monday at 7:00am.  Wife is at home upon the investigators arrival.  Wife travels to
various work related locations throughout the day but remain in town and does not meet the other man.  Surveillance is
discontinued at 3:00pm.

Investigators work again Tuesday at 7:00am.  Wife is home but remains inside the house all morning.  Husband calls
investigators at 11:00am to discuss the case.  Husband sees an email from his wife to a girlfriend says that she broke up
with her boyfriend since he would not meet her Saturday or Monday.

The investigation is placed on hold.
The stories below are from actual cases worked by Maryland Private Investigators (Detectives).  Due to the sensitive

Subject: Husband
Location(s): Annapolis, Maryland | Pasadena, Maryland
Related Case Information:  Husband works at a car dealership and can leave work whenever he wants.  Wife believes
that he is having an affair but has not evidence.  Investigators are to follow him from the residence in the morning to
make sure he goes to work and then monitor his activities throughout the day.

Day #1:  Investigators follow subject from his residence to work.  Subject leaves work at 1:00pm and drives to a local
shopping center.  Subject drives behind the strip mall but investigators do not follow.  Moments later the subject
reappears at the opposite end of the strip mall and is still alone in his vehicle.  Subject drives across the street to
another strip mall and does the same thing.  Again reappearing alone in his vehicle.  Subject drives a couple miles to
another strip mall and does the same thing.  Subject leaves the area and gets something to eat and then returns to
work.  Investigators are certain that subject was either expecting to pick someone up that couldn't make it or is checking
to see if they are being followed.  Subject gets off work and goes straight home.  Wife informs investigators that evening
that he is acting normal and does not believe he noticed that he was being followed.

Day #2:  Investigator again follow subject to work.  Subject leaves work at 11:00am and drives to same strip mall(s).
This time, at the third location the subject parks his vehicle and remains inside.  Fifteen minutes later a blonde female
arrives in another vehicle.  The subject gets a cooler out of his truck and places it into the females vehicle.  They drive
to Sandy Point State Park and lay out on the beach together.  Later on they walk together on the beach holding hands.
After a few hours they position the umbrella's to block the view of others on the beach and begin having sex on the
beach.

All activity was captured on videotape by the investigators.  Once the sexual activity was concluded the investigators left
the area to meet the client (wife).  The wife wanted to review the video to make sure we were watching the right person;
we were.  The wife was provided a copy of the videotape on DVD and we never heard from her again.

Related Case Information:  Wife works full time but has flexibility with her schedule.  Husband discovered that an old high
school boyfriend is coming into town for a week from California to stay with his brother.  The brother lives and works at a
local marina.  The husband has put a GPS tracking device on his wife's vehicle.  The investigators job is to maintain
surveillance of the marina and document activity if the wife shows up.

Day #1:  Investigators arrive at the marina and discover that there is very limited parking.  One investigators hides in the
rear of his mini van behind tinted windows while the other investigator waits at a local 7-Eleven.  After a couple of hours
the client calls to inform the investigators that his wife is heading in the direction of the marina.  More time passes and
the wife finally arrives.  The investigator in able to video tape the wife walking around the corner of one of the marina
buildings out of view.  The other investigator pulls into the parking lot and identifies two possible doors on the side of the
building but is not able to stay in the area without drawing attention.  The investigator leaves the parking lot and will be
able to follow the wife's vehicle if necessary.  Two hours later the wife and boyfriend walk holding hands into the parking
lot together.  They kiss and hug several times at her car, all within view of the video camera.  The wife drives away and
the boyfriend returns to the marina.

Day #2:  Investigators setup the same way and wait at the marina.  The wife again arrives but this time the second
investigator is able to drive within view of the door that she is entering.  The investigator is able to video tape the
boyfriend opening the side door and allowing the wife to enter.  After a few hours the wife and boyfriend exit holding
hands and get into the wife's car.  They drive about 30 minutes and eat lunch together.  After lunch they appear to be
apartment shopping eventually returning to the marina.  Investigators are able to put them behind closed doors again
for a couple of hours and then more hugging and kissing as the wife leaves for the day.

After this second day there is plenty of evidence to prove that the wife is committing Adultery but the client wants to
continue getting as much evidence as possible while the boyfriend is in town.  Surveillance continued another three
days with similar results.

Subject: Multiple Persons
Location(s): Laurel, Maryland
Related Case Information:  A company is having a possible theft problem.  Large air compressors are being returned to
the warehouse by customers (normal part of their business) but these returns are disappearing.  This is a small
warehouse that supports the local area while the main office is in Maine.  The job of the investigators is to monitor the
business for any activity related to the air compressors, before the warehouse opens and well into the night after closing.

Day #1:  Investigators establish surveillance locations with the rear loading dock doors in view just before 5:00am.
Since the trucks block most of the view inside the warehouse the investigators have to setup on a slight angle in order to
see anything moving onto or off of the trucks.  Although there is a lot of activity no unusual activity is noted and
surveillance is discontinued at 1:00am the following morning.  Once the business closed at 6:00pm, no one came back
to the warehouse.

Day #2:  Investigators setup again at 5:00am.  Just before lunch investigators see two large air compressors move from
the warehouse into the companies dumpster.  The air compressors remain there even after the employees leave for the
day and the warehouse is closed.  Investigators are expecting someone to return later tonight to retrieve the items.  It's
not 1:00am and there has been no activity.  The investigators are instructed to get the Serial Numbers off of the
compressors so that the main office can do some research the next day.

Day #3:  Investigators arrive at 5:00am and the compressors are still present.  The main office calls the investigators
around noon to inform them that the compressors are defective and are supposed to be destroyed, but not just tossed
into the dumpster.  Helpful news about employees not following company policy but not the theft that they were
expecting.  Around 2:00pm an old pickup truck arrives and the two passengers talk to the warehouse supervisor.  All
three of them walk over to the dumpster and look at the compressors.  Eventually the compressors are loaded into the
pickup truck and the truck drives away.  Investigators already video taped the two people in the truck and have the tag
number if needed.  Investigators decide to follow the truck.  The truck arrives at a local scrap yard where the truck is
dropping off the compressors.  This information is communicated to the main office and surveillance is continued
through the night as planned.

No further surveillance was scheduled.  Further research by the company related to the two Serial Numbers on the
compressors uncovered a simple paperwork communication problem where all defective compressors APPEARED to
disappear from the books.  So there was no actual theft problem at warehouse, just communication issues related to the
defective compressors.

Subject: Client's Ex-Husband
Location(s): Bethesda, Maryland | Columbia, Maryland
Related Case Information:  Client is divorced and shares custody with ex-husband.  The child is three years old.
Ex-husband has multiple DUI's and is under a court order not to drink, with or without the child.  Investigators are to
follow ex-husband after work and weekends to see if they can catch him with alcohol.

Day #1:  Investigators arrive at subject's work and locate his vehicle.  Subject leaves work and drives home, no stops.
Surveillance is discontinued at 10:00pm.

Day #2:  Investigators arrive at subject's work and locate his vehicle.  Subject leaves work and drives to a liquor store
near his residence.  One investigator enters the liquor store to observe the purchase while the other investigator video
tapes the subject exiting the store.  Subject purchases two bottles of wine.  Investigators follow subject home and video
tape him entering the house with the purchase.  Investigators remain until 9:00pm then discontinue.

Day #3:  Investigators are requested for a Friday evening surveillance.  Subject leaves residence alone and drives to
local restaurant.  Subject meets a female at the bar and the two of them get wine to drink.  Investigators observe but
cannot video tape due to location.  Subject and female get a table and order dinner.  A wine bottle is delivered to the
table.  Investigators are able to video tape the subject drinking the wine through the restaurant window.

The information was communicated to the client.  Her attorney requested an emergency hearing to show the judge the
evidence.  Investigators testified and showed the evidence in court.  The judge ordered that future visitation between
the ex-husband and his daughter would have to be supervised.  The ex-husband voluntarily checked into a 90-day
alcohol treatment facility.

Subject: Wife
Location(s): Chester, Maryland | Annapolis, Maryland
Related Case Information:  Client's wife is traveling to Chester, Maryland to visit a girlfriend while the husband stays in
New York to take care of the children.  Husband has read multiple email's and knows that his wife is really meeting
another man that lives on a large boat at the marina.  Although she may spend time with her girlfriend in the area, this is
not the main purpose of the trip. The marina is protected by a security fence so investigators will have to wait outside
the fence in order to get out quickly and follow.

Day #1:  Investigators arrive at the marina and search the parking lot for the subject's vehicle; not present.
Investigators do not know the name of the boat or what the other man drives.  Later that evening the subject's car
arrives and investigators see her unload luggage and get onto a boat.  A few hours later the subject and a man walk
from the boat and go to dinner.  As they are walking up the steps to the restaurant door investigators are able to video
tape them holding hands.  After dinner they go back to the boat.

Day #2:  Investigators arrive at 9:00am and the subject's car is present.  Investigators still do not know what vehicle the
man drives.  Around 5:00pm the client calls and informs the investigators that his wife has posted photos on her
Facebook account showing some of her activities for the day.  This means that she must have left before investigators
arrived and is traveling in someone else's vehicle.  Eventually investigators see activity on the boat.  About 10:00pm
investigators see a male and female leaving in a dark colored truck.  The female matched the photo of the subject so
investigators followed the truck to a local bar.  The subject and male are the one's exiting the truck.  Investigators are
able to video tape them touching and kissing multiple times at the bar.  A couple hours later they return to the boat.
Investigators remain an additional two hours at the boat before discontinuing surveillance.

unusual driving follows at which point the investigators disappear out of view and meet to discuss the situation.  After 30
minutes has passed the investigators decide to search the apartment complex where the subject started to turn.  The
subject's vehicle is located in front of one of the buildings.  From a distance, one investigator hides out in the back of his
vehicle watching for the subject to exit the apartment complex.  After a couple hours the subject appears and is with a
man.  They get into a vehicle (not the subject's) and drive away.  The vehicle arrives at a restaurant and the subject is
